Prepare
Everything should be growing well, and the 'Veg gap' should soon be over. It's now time to watch out for any dry spell and water evaporation from your plot. It's a good idea to apply plenty of mulch (see section on Mulching) to reduce this. Start the fight against the 'bugs' by careful monitoring of your crops.
Sow
Continue to sow your Salad Crops and you could sow some French Beans and Beetroot for some baby beets and small beans in Sept.
Why not try some Winter Radishes you may be pleasantly surprised with the taste of these larger, milder flavoured vegetables.
Harvest
Nows the time you should be able to harvest your Broad Beans, French Beans and Salad crops.
